Product information “VPN-Router MRX”
Fully Modular Industrial Router for the Optimized Coupling of your Networks
The MRX series by DELTA LOGIC enables you to use the latest technology exactly in the way you need it. In fact, MRX is completely modular; therefore its configuration is totally flexible and easily adapted to new challenges. Along with the perfectly optimized processing power, you’ll also benefit from its great cost-effectiveness and outstanding life cycle.
Wide range of application areas
Due to its modular concept you can configure your MRX with exactly those features that you need for your infrastructure. For doing this, two different width dimensions of the housing, various basic versions as well as a series of additional modules, the so-called MRXcards, are available to you. Given the numerous options, you have the widest possible flexibility in terms of what you decide to purchase right away as well as in terms of any adaptation that might get necessary in the future.
MRX has an integrated firewall and VPN functions – hence there’s no limit to the protected remote service of your terminal equipment.
Two housing widths
The MRX series is available in two different housing widths:
MRX3 comes with 3 slots, two of which are defined by the chosen basic version. The third slot can be used for another module (MRXcard) of your choice.
MRX5 comes with 5 slots, two of which are defined by the chosen basic version. The other three slots can be used for other modules (MRXcard) of your choice.
The two basic versions
The MRX series is available in two basic versions with different standard configurations.
The basic version MRX-LAN features an Ethernet module with five LAN ports, a power supply module and 2 digital inputs. The five LAN ports can be divided into up to five IP networks.
The basic version MRX-LTE features an Ethernet module with five LAN ports, an LTE module with integrated power supply and 2 digital inputs. The five LAN ports can be divided into up to five IP networks.
Wide range of application areas
If even the great potentiality of the basic modules should not be enough for you, you still have the opportunity to expand your MRX with various other modules, the so-called MRXcards. For more details about the modules at your disposal please see the section “Accessories”.
The winning variety
We want you to efficiently use your secure VPN connection. For this, we offer you the following two VPN portals:
With the DELTA LOGIC Connectivity Service you’ll be able to create the most complex VPN structures and have direct access to the terminal devices via direct routing.
The VPN portal DELTALOGIC24 instead is best suited for rather small VPN structures.
Key Features
Segmentation in various local IP networks
Different VPN tunnels can be used in parallel
Firewall in the tunnel (e.g. delimitation of remote access possibility)
Flexible administration with Profile Manager
Administration of access rights through user roles
Enhanced event-based control (e.g. profiles, connections, redundancy)
High performance for broadband networks and high VPN data rate
